About the Founders
Jose E. Alfaro and
Carlos E. Alfaro are both natives of a small pueblo in
the outskirts of Usulután, El Salvador. The brothers
arrived in Los Angeles in 1982 at the age of 12 and 10
leaving their homeland in fear of the danger and uncertainties
of the ongoing war.
Raised by a single mother who put them through school
while she worked as a housekeeper, the brothers graduated
from High School and continued on college at night. Both
Jose and Carlos sought to work to help the three member
family get ahead. Initially working in physically demanding
low paying jobs, Jose and Carlos decided that if anything
was to change, they needed to continue with their education.
Both Jose and Carlos quickly learned the value of education
and as advocates of the same, education has been and will
continue to be a driving force at Insurenex. All team
members at Alfaro & Alfaro undergo a licensing and
certification program; they must stay up to date on the
latest products and benefit trends through seminars, training
accreditation, and certification.
To further the education initiative at Alfaro & Alfaro,
Jose and Carlos created the Insurenex
Academy , a bi-weekly in-house conference dedicated
to the education, improvement, and advancement of our
team member's careers. As Jose further expands….
